This fund provides grant finance to produce online series or one-off XR projects that will be made in Western Australia. Its objective is to develop talent and promote innovation in the Western Australian screen industry.

Screenwest encourages applications from First Nations and people from historically un-represented groups.

Footloose Production Fund

Applications close Friday 28 September, 5pm AWST.

Provides grant finance for high profile, market driven, local, national and international footloose, scripted feature films, telemovies and series.

Productions that receive more than $100,000 Screenwest production funding must budget for and offer a Western Australian BTL Mentorship and/or Attachment opportunity through the Below-the-Line (BTL) Crew Capacity Program.

Matched Scripted TV Production Fund

The fund is for experienced Western Australia Producers with scripted television series that originate or have been significantly developed in Western Australia.   Projects must be made in Western Australia and commissioned by an Australian broadcaster or streaming platform.

This fund provides funding support to Western Australian Producers for feature length documentary films, singles, and series with significant marketplace attachments.
