Lotterywest Elevate 2026

Designed to support early-to-mid career creatives to create a high-quality scripted short film, animation or online series, the initiative aims to uncover distinctive Western Australian voices and projects.

Proper Loved Up

This new romantic comedy short film initiative will support up to eight First Nations teams nationwide, helping them bring fresh, exciting Indigenous stories to the screen. Supported by Screen Australia’s First Nations Department in partnership with ABC, NITV, Screenwest, Screen Territory, Screen Queensland, Screen Tasmania, VicScreen, Screen NSW and Screen Canberra.

Tele-Navigator Initiative

This scripted television development initiative is for writers, directors and/or producers with television concepts that can be made in WA. Up to six WA applicants will be selected to participate in development workshops with leading Australian TV producers, with a focus on accelerating their projects to be market ready.

Brian Beaton Award
