WA producer Alzbeta Rekosh selected for skills development opportunity with Odin’s Eye Entertainment at Cannes

Screenwest is pleased to announce that emerging Western Australian producer, Alzbeta Rekosh has been selected to participate in a skills development opportunity with international sales agent, distributor and production company Odin’s Eye Entertainment at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Announced in February, the opportunity will enable Alzbeta to gain hands-on experience at market events while liaising with filmmakers, distributors, sales agents and press on a global scale.

“The opportunity offered by Odin’s Eye Entertainment presents an invaluable chance for me to gain firsthand experience in navigating the global film market and fostering valuable connections within the industry. I extend my sincere appreciation to Odin’s Eye and Screenwest for this opportunity and eagerly anticipate immersing myself in learning opportunities at the Cannes Film Festival.” said Alzbeta Rekosh.

“We’re thrilled to be able to support Alzbeta to attend this year’s Cannes Film Festival with Odin’s Eye Entertainment. Screenwest has supported a number of talented WA practitioners through this opportunity over the years, and we look forward to seeing Alzbeta gain a wealth of invaluable screen market experience in France next month. Bonne chance, Alzbeta!” said Anastasia Lambetsos, Screenwest Special Initiatives Program Manager.
