WA Games Industry Survey

Screenwest is seeking the input of the Western Australian Games and Interactive industry as we develop the programs for our new Games funding.

As part of our industry consultation, we are inviting games practitioners and studios to share their experiences and feedback by taking part in a survey.

This survey will help us shape the programs to best provide support for the industry where it’s needed most.

It will also help us to capture a snapshot of the WA Games and Interactive industry at this point in time, so we can measure the impact of our programs and build a business case for ongoing funding for the industry.

The survey has been tailored to include questions for studios, individuals and games adjacent practitioners. Studios and companies are encouraged to share the Individuals survey link with their team.

Which survey should I fill out?

  • Studios Survey – this survey is for game development studio owners or representatives.
  • Games Adjacent – this survey is for owners of businesses that provide tools for game developers or that operate in a field outside of game development who use game development tools.
  • Individuals Survey – this survey is for people working in the game development industry, working in games adjacent studios or who are working in another field but consider themselves part of the game development industry.
