Temporary SmartyGrants Closure for ‘Open Any Time’ Grants
Our ‘open any time’ grant funding rounds on our SmartyGrants Application portal will temporarily close at 5pm AWST on Sunday 25 October 2026 as we make updates to these forms. These funding rounds will reopen again on Monday 26 October 2026.
This closure effects our Emergency Development Investment Fund, Travel Fund, First Nations Practitioner Development Fund, Matched Development Investment Fund, Matched Scripted TV Production Fund and WA PDV Incentive.
What does this mean for me as an applicant?
We encourage applicants currently preparing submissions to plan accordingly and ensure any applications are submitted prior to the 25 October closure date.
As of 5pm AWST 25 October 2026, any unsubmitted funding applications will no longer be accessible and you will need to begin a brand new submission.
Further information on individual funding programs and guidelines is available via the Screenwest website, or you can speak with the Screenwest Program Contact.
