Screenwest Documentary Filmmaker Think Tank & Guidelines Review Update

Thank you once again to all the documentary filmmakers that joined Screenwest management and leading industry representatives for the Screenwest Documentary Think Tank in late 2021.

Designed to create a shared understanding of what is happening right now in the documentary sector in Western Australia, sharing and listening to the insights provided during the session was invaluable for Screenwest.

In March and April, as the next phase of this process, Screenwest will consult with the documentary sector, partners and stakeholders to inform a review and update of Screenwest’s documentary production funding guidelines.

We look forward to working with the industry and our partners to make informed decisions around funding levels, incentives and process, to support the growth of the documentary sector in WA into the future.
