West Coast Visions 2025 now open

Screenwest and Screen Australia are pleased to announce that applications for West Coast Visions 2025 are now open.

West Coast Visions is a special initiative designed by Screenwest to uncover, inspire and develop talented and motivated WA filmmakers with distinctive visions, providing them with up to $1,000,000 production funding to produce their debut feature film in Western Australia.

Together with Screen Australia’s pre-commitment of $500,000 in equity since 2023 and Screenwest’s recent funding increase, West Coast Visions recipients will receive a total of up to $1.5 million production funding.

Filmmaking teams receive ongoing creative and strategic support from Screenwest and Screen Australia, giving them a strong start and a confident path to production.

How to apply

The application deadline is Monday, 10 March 2025 at 5:00pm AWST.

Applications will be accepted through the Screenwest SmartyGrants portal.

The full guidelines, application materials and eligibility criteria are available on the Special Initiatives page of the Screenwest website.
