Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round for Gamescom 2025 in August, offering up to $5,000 support for WA practitioners of digital games.
Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round for Gamescom 2025 in August, offering up to $5,000 support for Western Australian digital games practitioners.
Gamescom is the world’s largest event for computer and video games and Europe’s most comprehensive business conference for the gaming industry.
The event will be held in Cologne, Germany from 20 to 24 August 2025.
A set amount of $5,000 to help with flights, accommodation and registration will be provided. A budget is not required as part of the application.
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
Applications close Monday, 23 June at 5:00pm AWST.

Applications can be made through Screenwest’s SmartyGrants portal.
