Temporary SmartyGrants Closure for ‘Open Any Time’ Grants
Our 'open any time' grant funding rounds on our SmartyGrants Application portal will temporarily close at 5:00pm AWST on 30 June 2026 as part of our annual, end of financial year process.

Tuesday, 2 June 2026 Our ‘open any time’ grant funding rounds on our SmartyGrants Application portal will temporarily close at 5:00pm AWST on 30 June 2026 as part of our annual, end of financial year process. These funding rounds reopen again on 1 July 2026.
This closure only effects our Emergency Development Investment Fund, First Nations Low Budget Television Fund, Travel Fund, First Nations Project Development, Matched Development Investment Fund and Matched Scripted TV Production Fund.
What does this mean for me as an applicant?

We encourage applicants currently preparing submissions to plan accordingly and ensure any applications are submitted prior to the 30 June closure date.

As of 5pm AWST 30 June 2026, any unsubmitted funding applications will no longer be accessible.
