Screenwest is pleased to announce a paid Production Coordinator Attachment is available for a Western Australian screen practitioner through the Screenwest BTL Crew Capacity Program on an upcoming Feature Film, based in Wilyabrup.

About the attachment
Role: Production Coordinator Attachment
Dates: Monday, 20 October – Friday 28 November
Location: Wilyabrup
Production Company: Indian Pacific Pictures Pty Ltd and Goodthing Productions Pty Ltd
The successful candidate will complete six consecutive weeks as a paid Production Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of Line Producer, Susie Opie, where you will:
- Opportunity to observe weekly cost report meetings
- Complete weekly invoice payments
- Assist in the management of cast and crew accommodation, per diems and support.
- Gain an understanding of the accounting procedures on an Australian Feature Film
- A deeper insight into how a production office runs on a feature film.
Due to regional location the production will provide accommodation, per diems and travel costs to the Attachment if located outside the metro area.
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
If the right candidate cannot be found for this role, the attachment may be offered in another department.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the BTL Crew Capacity Program – Applicant Guidelines
and Screenwest Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will:
- A basic understanding of Excel
- Good attention to detail
- A good understanding of the physical processes for feature film
Special consideration will be given to applicants with:
- Experience in bookkeeping
- Production Office Experience
