Screenwest is pleased to announce a paid Production Coordinator Attachment is available for a Western Australian screen practitioner through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on an upcoming factual television series based in Perth. Applications close Monday 26 May 2025 at 5:00pm AWST.

Role: Production Coordinator
Dates: 9 June – 18 July 2025
Location: Perth / Fremantle
Production Company: Artemis Media
The successful candidate will complete six consecutive weeks as a paid Production Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of Line Producer Karen Williams and Coordinator Robyn Marais, where you will:
- Gain exposure and hands-on experience in the Production Coordinator role for a four-part prime time documentary series
- Gain deeper understanding of the role of the Production Coordinator and the roles in the production office in the documentary sector
- Gain hands-on experience with organising travel logistics including flights, accommodation, carnets and visas
- Learn how to handle and produce a documentary call sheet in conjunction with the Production Manager
- Maintain the production’s paperwork including contact details, distributing latest scripts and planning & ordering supplies
- Familiarisation with the production equipment used and the associated hardware/software, including knowledge of the hire and equipment supply companies
- Familiarisation with the company petty cash and invoicing system, and handling of petty cash reconciliation
- Contribute to team meetings regarding story, schedule and logistical updates
- Develop the ability to confidently communicate with cast and crew
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the Below-The-Line Crew Capacity Program Guidelines and Screenwest Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to take direction.
