Screenwest is pleased to announce a paid Production Coordinator Attachment is available for a Western Australian screen practitioner through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on an upcoming award-winning historical documentary series based in Perth.

About the attachment
Role: Production Coordinator
Dates: 28 July – 5 September 2025
Location: Perth
Production Company: Artemis Media
The successful candidate will complete 6 consecutive weeks as a paid Production Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of Production & Post Supervisor Lucy Verity, and Production Manager Tao Yu where you will:
- Have the opportunity to understand the role of the Production Co Ordinator and the roles in the production office.
- Research into overseas shooting locations and location permissions.
- Organise travel logistics including flights, accommodation & per diems.
- Understand the different travel visas required and the carnet system.
- Learn how to construct a documentary call sheet.
- Maintain the productions paperwork including contact details, distributing latest scripts and planning & ordering supplies.
- Familiarisation with the production equipment used and the associated hardware/software, including knowledge of the hire and equipment supply companies.
- Familiarisation with the company invoicing system.
- Have the opportunity to sit in on and contribute to team meetings.
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the BTL Crew Capacity Program – Applicant Guidelines
and Screenwest Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will:
- Good communication & organisational skills,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel,
- Ability to work as part of a team,
- Attention to detail, and
- Ability to take direction.
Special consideration will be given to applicants with:
- Research experience
