A paid six-week Post Production Manager attachment is available for a Western Australian screen practitioner through the Screenwest BTL Crew Capacity Program. The attachment will be working on a Documentary Series.

Responsibilities
Under the expert guidance of Production Manager Desiree Leeper, you will:
- Gain a practical understanding of the documentary post production process, from editorial picture lock through to final delivery to multiple stakeholders
- Gain exposure to communications with broadcasters, distributors, and post houses
- Assist with preparation and quality checking of various assets (e.g., on-screen text lists, music cue sheets, post production scripts, press kits)
- Learn the role of the Production Manager in the post production process
- Learn how to check that delivery materials meet contract specifications
- Assist with the compilation and finalising of final schedule and cost report
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
If the right candidate cannot be found for this role, the attachment may be offered in another department.
The Production Company will select the successful applicant. Screenwest provides administration support.
Key Requirements
In addition to meeting the eligibility requirements in the BTL Crew Capacity Program – Applicant Guidelines and Screenwest Terms of Trade, you must have:
- Exceptional organisational ability and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable with Google and Microsoft suites, including excel spreadsheets
- High level of discretion and strong understanding of handling confidential information
Special consideration will be given to applicants who have:
- Prior exposure to a post production or broadcast environment
- Familiarity with technical requirements for broadcasters or streaming platforms
- Knowledge of technical formats, codecs, or quality control processes
