Screenwest is pleased to announce a paid Post-Production Coordinator Attachment is available for a Western Australian screen practitioner through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on an upcoming factual television series Hunting Outback Gold based in Perth. Applications close Wednesday 14 May 2025 at 5:00pm AWST.
Hunting Outback Gold tracks an intrepid team on their search to find a fortune, taking inspiration from the tragic death of gold prospector Harrold Lasseter in the 1930s and his quest to rediscover a vast reef of gold.

Role: Post-Production Coordinator
Dates: 26th May – 27th June 2025
Location: Perth
Production Company: Prospero Productions
The successful candidate will complete 5 consecutive weeks as a paid Post-Production Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of Production Manager Karina Rowe where you will:
- Assist Series Producer / Director, Production Manager and Post-Production Coordinator key tasks including

- Fact checking
- Transcribing
- Following up any outstanding Release Forms
- Producing Release Logs for the Legal Binder
- Completing data entry on Silvermouse for UKTV deliverables
- Completing music cue sheets
- Competing text element documents
- Updating deliverables tracker
- Sorting and selecting publicity stills for approval
- Compiling stills log for deliverables
- Gain an overall understanding of post-production process
- Observe the editorial process in post-production
- Gain understanding of the scripting process
- Build skills in applying for archive approval and understanding copyright process
- Understand permits application process
- Build research skills for fact checking.
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the Screenwest Crew Attachment Guidelines and Screenwest Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will possess:
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Basic understanding of Excel
Special consideration will be given to applicants with:
- Research and archiving experience
