WA teams take part in Feature Navigator 2026
Seven creative teams from across the state are participating in a series of development sessions with leading industry practitioners.
Seven creative teams from across the state are participating in a series of development sessions with leading industry practitioners as part of Feature Navigator 2026 – receiving invaluable bespoke training and advice to support their projects to become market ready.
Screenwest is pleased to announce the Western Australian teams selected to participate in Feature Navigator 2026 are:
- Aaron McCann and Jesse Laurie
- Alok Rao
- Antony Webb and Jaclyn Hewer
- Clare Toonen
- David Vincent Smith and Jessica Londono
- Miranda Edmonds and Rebbecca Ciallella
- Sharron Booth and Adam Isitt.

As part of this accelerator program, which is now in its second year, teams joined writer Andrew Bovell (Things I Know to Be True, Lantana) at the State Library for a masterclass on feature storytelling.
Producers Julie Ryan (H is for Happiness, Hotel Mubai, Ten Canoes), Pauline Clague (The Colleano Heart, The Anangu) and Vincent Sheehan (Shayda, The Hunter, Little Fish) are leading intensive development workshops with each team focusing on accelerating their feature projects to be market ready.

Following the Feature Navigator workshop, up to two teams will receive further development funding to progress their projects.
