Congratulations to the Western Australian AIDC and SPA Award nominees

Congratulations to the Western Australian screen projects nominated for 2026 Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) and Screen Producers Australia (SPA) and Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) awards.

Noongar filmmaker, producer and cultural leader Karla Hart (Our Medicine, Yokayi Footy, Family Rules) will also be recognised at AIDC this year, receiving the Southern Light Award. The award is a $5,000 cash prize presented by AIDC to an Australian industry professional for their outstanding contribution to nonfiction screen, digital and/or audio media.
