Screenwest is pleased to announce a paid Camera Attachment is available for a Western Australian screen practitioner through the Screenwest BTL Crew Capacity Program on an upcoming Feature Film, based in Willyabrup.

About the attachment
Role: Camera Attachment
Dates: Monday, 20 October – Friday, 28 November
Location: Wilyabrup
Production Company: Indian Pacific Pictures Pty Ltd and Goodthing Productions Pty Ltd
The successful candidate will complete six consecutive weeks as a paid Camera Attachment under the expert guidance of 1st AC, Rebecca Crow where you will:
- Assist camera department
- Take direction from DP & 1st AC
- Assist in video split gear and set up
- Gain an understanding of the camera department on an Australian Feature Film
Due to regional location the production will provide accommodation, per diems and travel costs to the Attachment if located outside the metro area.
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
If the right candidate cannot be found for this role, the attachment may be offered in another department.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the BTL Crew Capacity Program – Applicant Guidelines
and Screenwest Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will:
- Good understanding of feature film camera equipment
- Good attention to detail
- Good understanding of the physical production processes for feature film
Special consideration will be given to applicants with:
- Qualifications from TAFE or other educational institutions.
