Call for new members to join Screenwest Industry Advisory Committee
The Industry Advisory Committee (IAGC) is committed to regularly refreshing its members and ensuring it reflects diversity across the sector and experience levels.
Expressions of interest are open for new members to join the Screenwest Industry Advisory Group Committee (IAGC).
The IAGC is a subcommittee of the Screenwest Board. It assists the Board to maintain currency with issues and trends affecting the WA screen industry.
The IAGC is committed to regularly refreshing its members and ensuring it reflects diversity across the sector and experience levels. Members may be appointed for a term of up to three years. Terms start from the date of appointment.
Members receive an honorarium and must be able to commit to attending:
- Formal IAGC meetings (at least once a year).
- Informal IAGC group discussions (at least once a quarter).
- IAGC Town Hall events.
The EOI Form explains the objectives of the IAGC and member responsibilities.
Assessment Process
The IAGC and Screenwest CEO will review all EOIs. Their recommendations will then go to the Screenwest Nominations Committee and Board to consider.
Final appointment decisions are made by the Screenwest Board. To note: appointments are likely to begin late 2026/early 2027.
Assessment Criteria
- Screen industry skills, experience, and knowledge.
- Capacity to think and contribute strategically.
- Ability to participate co-operatively with a diverse range of different people.
- Integrity and honesty.
- Well established networks within area of practice.
To ensure diverse representation on the IAGC consideration will be given to the overall mix of people, skills, knowledge and experience.
