Screenwest is pleased to announce a paid Archive Coordinator Attachment is available for a Western Australian screen practitioner through the Screenwest BTL Crew Capacity Program on an upcoming Documentary based in Perth.

About the attachment
Role: Archive Coordinator
Dates: 30 September – 7 November 2025
Location: Perth
Production Company: Easy Tiger West
The successful candidate will complete six consecutive weeks as a paid Archive Coordinator Attachment under the expert guidance of Line Producer where you will:
- Assist on key tasks including researching, and maintaining archive spreadsheets
- Work closely with production team to ensure archive is logged correctly
- Gain an overall understanding of the tasks associated with the role of Archive Coordinator
- Develop archive research skills by researching possible archives from a variety of sources – broadcasters, newspapers, still image libraries
- Gain an understanding of licensing archive and copyright processes
- Develop an understanding of the editorial process in documentary making.
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
If the right candidate cannot be found for this role, the attachment may be offered in another department.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
In addition to the requirements in the BTL Crew Capacity Program – Applicant Guidelines
and Screenwest Terms of Trade, the successful applicant will have:
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work both in a team and independently.
Special consideration will be given to applicants with a keen interest in documentary filmmaking.
