Applications open for Production Manager Accelerator Workshop 2024

Screenwest is pleased to announce the return of the successful Production Manager Accelerator Workshop for 2024, led by experienced WA Producer/Line Producer/Production Manager James Grandison. The workshop will provide a limited number of WA practitioners with an understanding of Production Management and the mechanics of taking a production from script to screen.

About Production Manager Accelerator Workshop 2024

The workshop sessions will run over four Saturdays from 3 – 24 February 2024. The workshop will take place in Perth (venue to be advised), with the option for regional practitioners to attend remotely.

Participants will receive:

  • The knowledge and skills to read and interpret the requirements of a script to create a production overview schedule and budget.
  • A clear understanding of the necessary milestones required for production planning.
  • A clear understanding of the role and day-to-day responsibilities of a production manager during pre-production, shoot and wrap of a project.
  • A strong understanding of the stages of production and the financial reporting obligations and requirements to funding bodies and investors.

Please note: successful participants must attend all four workshops.
