Applications now open for MIFF 37º South Post Script & Direct 2022
Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) has opened applications for MIFF 37º South Post Script & Direct 2022, and Screenwest is offering the opportunity for up to five Western Australian writers and directors to participate in the exclusive networking program, as part of the festival’s MIFF 37ºSouth Market.
Applications are open now via the MIFF Industry website.
Selected WA writers will have the opportunity to meet with participant producers, hone their skills in pitching and broaden their producer contact base.
Selected WA directors will have the opportunity to pitch themselves, their skills, genre interests/aspirations and body of work to participant producers as a potential candidate to direct future projects on their slates.

- Thursday 4 to Sunday 21 August – Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF)
- Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 August – MIFF 37º South Market
- Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August – Post Script & Direct networking program
Your Post Script & Direct registration will include:
- Personal diary of one-to-one meetings with producers on Saturday or Sunday
- Networking events on Saturday and Sunday
- Access to State of Play panels on Saturday and Sunday
- Invite to 37ºSouth Market Closing Drinks on Sunday evening
Applications close at 10:00pm WST on Wednesday, 22 June 2022.
Screenwest will cover the cost of each participant’s registration fee directly to MIFF, and will provide the successful applicant a set amount of $1,000 in travel funding towards their travel and accommodation costs.
