Ingrid Longley joins Screenwest as Head of Industry Development

Ingrid brings deep expertise in Australian and international documentary content, along with strong strategic and leadership experience.

Screenwest is delighted to welcome Ingrid Longley as our new Head of Industry Development.

Commencing in the role on 17 February, Ingrid will lead the design and delivery of Screenwest’s industry growth initiatives, including production attraction incentives, film friendly initiatives, workforce capacity, documentary and digital games.

With more than 15 years’ experience across the screen industry, including senior leadership roles in production and corporate teams, Ingrid brings deep expertise in Australian and international documentary content, along with strong strategic and leadership experience from her time at The Bullshift Company.

A collaborative leader and proud Western Australian, Ingrid is passionate about working with our industry and government partners to grow the scope and profile of Western Australian screen production.

“Welcome Ingrid! We’re so pleased to have Ingrid join Screenwest to lead our industry development team, during a period of immense growth in the WA screen industry,” said Rikki Lea Bestall, Screenwest CEO.

“I’m looking forward to bringing my industry and communications experience to Screenwest, working with our local screen community to grow the scope of Western Australian production in a strong, sustainable way. Contributing in a meaningful way to the success of WA’s film, TV and digital creators is something I’m passionate about. I’m thrilled to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new collaborators, and listen to and work alongside the talented, driven people who make Western Australia such a great place to tell stories. I’m excited to be joining the team at Screenwest from 17 February and hope to make a valuable contribution to the WA Screen Industry in the role of Head of Industry Development,” said Ingrid Longley.
