Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round to support Western Australian animation producers to attend Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA) 2025.

MIFA will be held in Annecy, France from 10 – 13 June, within the Annecy Animation Festival which runs from 8 – 14 June 2025.

The market is now considered the leading global event for the animation industry and includes unprecedented opportunities for businesses to network, promote their capabilities, services, talent and IP and recruit new talent in a competitive sector.

Ausfilm in partnership with Screenwest, will be leading a delegation of Australian animation companies and hosting an Australian stand at MIFA 2025 to showcase Australia’s animation sector.

WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
