Applications open for Screenwest’s Producer Talent Accelerator
Screenwest is proud to announce that applications are open for the Producer Talent Accelerator. This year-long skills development program will see an early-to-mid career WA producer accelerate their career by:
- Expanding their creative development skills and industry experience.
- Bridging the gap between their ideas and the market.
- Growing their industry contacts.
Screenwest will offer up to $100,000 for the year-long opportunity, comprised of $80,000 for professional skills development and $20,000 for project development.
The producer will undertake bespoke activities or secure an exceptional placement opportunity. This may include hands-on experience locally, nationally or internationally and/or high-level industry mentoring.
This initiative has a two-stage application and assessment process. The first stage invites applicants to submit an expression of interest which will then be shortlisted. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit additional materials.
Screenwest encourages applications from First Nations Australians and people from historically underrepresented groups.

The application deadline is Monday, 7 October 2024 at 5:00pm AWST.
