100% Wolf: The Book of Hath premiering 1 May on ABC

Lovable pink were-poodle Freddy Lupin is set to return to the small screen, with 100% Wolf: The Book of Hath premiering on the ABC on Monday, 1 May.

A follow up to 100% Wolf: Legend of the Moonstone, this second series takes 100% Wolf’s legion of fans on more magical adventures as were-poodle Freddy and his friends return to Howlington to broaden their understanding of werewolf lore and magic, putting this knowledge into practise as they face their most formidable foes yet. Our heroes go paw to paw with ancient dark magic in an epic battle through time and space to save Milford, werewolves, and the world as we know it.

Produced by Flying Bark Productions and co-produced by WA production company and post house Siamese, the 26-episode computer-animated mystery is based on the book 100% Wolf by Western Australian children’s author Jayne Lyons. The ABC series is a spin-off of Flying Bark and Siamese’s 2020 feature film adaptation, 100% Wolf, with a feature sequel, 200% Wolf, also underway.

Jacquie Trowell and Les Turner serve as directors, while series writers include Tess Meyer, Fin Edquist, Josephine Barrett, Charlotte Rose Hamlyn, Jean Tong, Sarinah Masukor, David Park, Michelle Offen, Lawrence Leung, Timothy Groenendyk and Western Australians Antony Webb, Tracey Defty-Rashid and Miley Tunnecliffe.

Specialising in offline and online editing, visual effects, motion graphics and 3D animation, Siamese has provided post-production services for many local and international productions including How to Please a Woman, The Furnace and most recently, Ben Young’s Devil’s Peak. The production and post-production of 100% Wolf: The Book of Hath provided key employment opportunities for WA practitioners, with Perth-based company Envelope Audio also providing the sound and music for the series.

“Scriptwriting, design, 3D asset creation, music, sound and picture post-production are all essential elements of producing high-quality content for film and television and it’s fantastic that these roles are being filled by local talent. Our partnership with Flying Bark continues to help promote not only Siamese but the WA screen industry and its capabilities to a global audience.” said Francesca Hope, Siamese Producer / Managing Director.

We’re so pleased to support 100% Wolf: The Book of Hath, which is a fantastic showcase of the WA talent we have working in the animation sector. We look forward to audiences of all ages enjoying this adventurous and charming series.” said Tenille Kennedy, Screenwest Scripted Executive.

100% Wolf: The Book of Hath premieres Monday, 1 May at 5:00pm on ABC ME and ABC iview. The first season, 100% Wolf: Legend of the Moonstone, is available to stream on ABC iview here.

Production Credit: 100% Wolf: The Book of Hath is a Flying Bark Productions program for the ABC. Major production investment from Screen Australia in association with Screen NSW. Financed with support from the Australian Children’s Television Foundation, Screenwest and Lotterywest.
