Synopsis

In the second series of this character-driven, observational documentary, First Nations doctors, nurses, paramedics, health professionals and traditional healers are filmed across Australia as they try to achieve better health outcomes for their First Nations patients and communities.

At a time when Australia’s health system remains under pressure, the series sets out to reframe the narrative — spotlighting Blak excellence, frontline leadership and the practical solutions emerging from First Nations communities themselves. Across metropolitan, regional and remote locations, this season places audiences inside dramatic, high-pressure environments while centring stories of connection, cultural safety and innovation led by First Nations practitioners.
