Impressive line-up of actors head down south to join the cast of Netflix series, Breakers

Screenwest is pleased to announce D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai as Elliot (Reservation Dogs, Warfare), Oliver Edis as Flynn (Gnomes), and Annabel Wolfe as Harper (Surviving Summer, Seven Snipers) have joined the cast of  Breakers, currently filming in the South West of Western Australia.

The trio join the cast as series regulars, alongside the previously announced lead Antony Starr as ‘Brando’ (The Boys, Banshee, The Covenant, G20).

Asher Yasbincek as Maggie (Heartbreak High, The Heights), David Howell as Iggy (Run, The Narrow Road To The Deep North), Tyroe Muhafidin as Danno (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), Tom Dawson as Don (Tenzing, He Had It Coming), Sherry-Lee Watson as Astrid (Heartbreak High, Thou Shalt Not Steal for Stan), Lu Miller as Amara (Nansie), Eliza Learmonth as Clementine (Baby Shower), and Brodie Townsend as Kurt (Heartbreak High, Significant Others) have also boarded Breakers as support cast.

“The Australian Government’s Location Offset, together with the support of the WA Government through Screenwest, has played a key role in making this production possible at the scale we hoped for, and we are thankful for that support,” said Wim De Greef, Executive Producer.

Breakers is supported by the WA Production Attraction Incentive which is designed to attract high profile, market driven footloose screen productions to Western Australia and is managed by Screenwest.

The 8-part series is the biggest production to take place in Western Australia and is estimated to employ over 100 Western Australians and inject more than $19 million into the WA economy.

Production Credit: Breakers is a Clerkenwell Films BBC Studios Productions Australia production for Netflix with major production investment from Screenwest and the Western Australian Production Attraction Incentive.
