The game is a throwback to the 2000s with a whole lot of 2000s nostalgia – a Y2K arena movement shooter game, where standing still is not an option. Just don’t stop moving!
Originally created as a school project, Don’t Stop, Girlypop! has now expanded into a full-time venture supported by Screen Australia and Screenwest, and published by Kwalee.
The Funny Fintan Softworks team, Jane Fiona and Rachel Hawkins are driven by fast, classic first-person shooters, tight gameplay loops and a strong sense of aesthetic.
The Steam demo has performed extremely well, reviewed by over 730 people with an average 89% ‘very positive’ user rating and boasting almost 100,000 Wishlists.
