$2 million Matched Scripted TV Production Fund relaunched for 2025-26

Screenwest is pleased to announce that the Matched Scripted TV Production Fund has been updated and is again open for applications. This time, applications can be made at any time.  

The fund is for experienced Western Australia Producers with scripted television series that originate or have been significantly developed in Western Australia.   

Projects must be made in Western Australia and commissioned by an Australian broadcaster or streaming platform. 

Screenwest will provide up to $2 million in production grant funding, matched with an Australian broadcaster or streaming platform license fee. Funding is limited; the fund will close as soon as funds are exhausted.  

To note: project eligibility has been updated to include minimum license fees for scripted children’s television.
