Screenwest supports three Western Australian production companies through the Workforce Capacity Program – Documentary Fund

Smashing Films, Prospero Productions and Periscope Pictures have each been supported with up to $50,000 through Screenwest’s Workforce Capacity Program – Documentary Fund.

The fund is made possible through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ workforce capacity support for the WA screen industry, announced by Culture and Arts Minister, Hon David Templeman in 2024.

The Workforce Capacity Program – Documentary Fund supports Western Australia documentary production companies to offer paid on the job training opportunities to local screen practitioners.

Smashing Films, Prospero Productions and Periscope Pictures will each offer paid on the job training opportunities in editing, production management, post producing/writing and story producing across a number of their upcoming documentary projects.

Congratulations to all three production companies!
