Screen Careers launches a new workshop in Western Australia
Screen Careers are heading to Perth in April to host another workshop - Mentoring Skills for Senior Crew.
Following their recently announced Freelancer Leadership & Management Workshop to be held in Perth on 15 March, Screen Careers will be holding another workshop in Western Australia – Mentoring Skills for Senior Crew, with more workshops to be announced throughout the year.
The workshop is designed for mid-career and established Western Australian screen practitioners.
Supported through Screenwest’s Industry Development – Workshops and Masterclasses Fund, these workshops are designed for mid-career and established Western Australian screen practitioners.
The fund is made possible through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ workforce capacity support for the WA screen industry, announced by Culture and Arts Minister, Hon David Templeman in 2024.
Each workshop costs $49 per person / $29 concession / FREE – a limited number of free places are available for participants who are First Nations, CALD or living with a disability.
Screen Careers: Mentoring Skills For Senior Crew – 5 April
Are you a Head of Department or senior crew member responsible for the supervision and skills development of more junior crew or of trainees and attachments who are brought onto a production?
This one-day workshop will provide the practical tools required to support and mentor an attachment, trainee or placement and create a positive experience for them and for the production.
Date: Saturday 5 April 2025
Time: 9:30am – 4:30pm
Venue: Seminar Terrace Room, ABC Studios, 30 Fielder Street, East Perth
