Applications open for travel funding to attend Content London 2024

Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round to support WA screen producers attending Content London 2024, taking place in the United Kingdom from 2-5 December.

Content London is a world leading development marketplace and conference. It attracts more than 3,000 leading content executives from all over the world, with a focus on creating fresh partnerships around the most progressive ideas and initiatives. It takes place across five venues in London, with a development marketplace, conference, screenings and networking events.

WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

A set amount of $5,000 to assist with flights, accommodation and registration will be provided. A budget is not required as part of the application.

This is a competitive round and only a limited number of practitioners will be supported.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a Western Australian resident and meet the general eligibility requirements set out in the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
  • Hold the underlying rights to at least three strong projects in development with some level of market interest.
  • Provide a summary of projects being taken to market (including proof of market interest) and a rationale for attending the market.

Applicants are responsible for securing their own event registration.

Screen Australia has secured access to a limited number of discounted registrations for Content London 2024. These will be available to Australian practitioners on a first come/first served basis and are on offer until the event sells out.

Screenwest will only fund one person per project / company to attend Content London 2024.

Screenwest will not fund an applicant who has received travel support from Screen Australia’s Content London travel round.
