DESCRIPTION:Pre-Christmas Production Round Added: Drama and Documentary Production Funding Rounds Now Open!\n Due to significant industry need\, Screenwest is opening new Scripted\, Footloose and Documentary Production Funding Rounds. Applications close Monday\, 23 November 2020 at 5:00pm AWST.\n \n Screenwest had previously communicated that we expected a second Documentary Production round to close in January 2021 and budget allowing\, a third round in May 2021. In light of the need for a round to take place prior to the end of the calendar year\, another planned round will close in April 2021 (depending on the availability of funds). The updated Scripted\, Footloose and Documentary production round dates are as follows:\n Current Round (second round for 2020-21)\n \n  	Application Deadline: Monday\, 23 November  2020\n  	Screenwest Decision expected by: Monday\, 21 December 2020\n \n Proposed (third round for 2020-21)\n \n  	Application Deadline: Monday\, 5 April 2021\n  	Screenwest Decision expected by: Wednesday\, 26 May 2021\n \n &nbsp\;\n Scripted Production Fund\n The Scripted Production Fund provides support to distinctive\, high quality and diverse projects with strong Western Australian outcomes. The fund provides production finance for feature films\, telemovies and scripted series with significant marketplace attachments from traditional and new distribution platforms (with significant audience share).\n \n All program guidelines are to be read in conjunction with the Screenwest Terms of Trade.\n \n All productions that receive Screenwest production funding over $100\,000 are required to budget for and engage a Western Australian attachment/s in consultation with Screenwest. Please also refer to the Crew Attachment Program Guidelines.\n Read the guidelines and apply for the Scripted Production Fund.
